아이들은 혼자만의 공간을 참 좋아하죠?

갑자기 조용하면 어디에 몰래 숨어서 사고를 치고 있기도 하고요.

 

그래서 요즘엔 아이들 놀이 텐트가 참 유용하게 쓰이는 것 같아요.

저희 아이는 놀이 텐트에 제 물건을 몰래 갖다 놓기도 하고요, 거기서 초콜릿을 몰래 먹기도 하더라고요ㅋㅋㅋ

 

오늘 에피소드도 까이유가 숨을 수 있는 자신만의 공간이 생긴 내용이에요.

Mom : Maybe he is hiding. Look at this.

Caillou : Hiding in a hiding place.

G : Hiding in a hiding place? That reminds me of something.

 

Caillou wondered what grandpa was going to tell him.

 

G : Can you keep a secret, Caillou?

C : Yes, grandpa.

G : Well I know where there's a special hiding place in the garden. Would you like to see it? I'm sure this is the right tree. Well if it wasn't on the other side, it must be on this side. Go on then have a look. Well, how is it?

C : It's the best special hiding place in the world, grandpa. Thank you, grandpa.

G : Why don't you keep the flashlight?

C : Wow, Can I?

M : Time to sleep, Caillou. I'll be there in minutes.

Rosie : Caillou, Caillou, Caillou.

C : Rosie, you can't come with me.

 

This was Caillou's special hiding place. He didn't want anyone else to know about it.

 

G : Caillou, are you in there? You'd better come in the house, Your daddy will be here to pick you up soon. Well, I just don't believe it. What is it?

Dad : Well, believe it or not, Caillou. That's a toy that belonged to me when I was a little boy just like you.

G : And when I was a daddy just like your daddy.

D : You must have found it in my special hiding place. But it's your special hiding place now.

약간 쌩뚱맞지만 저는 이번 에피소드를 보고 토이스토리가 생각났어요.

토이스토리3에서 앤디는 더 이상 갖고 놀지 않는 인형들을 다른 아이에게 맞기며 우디와 버즈와는 이별을 하게 되죠.

이번 까이유 에피소드에서도 아빠가 성인이 되면서 잊고 있었던 추억의 장소와 장난감을 까이유가 새로운 추억으로 만들고 있다는게 토이스토리3 내용과 비슷하지 않나 싶었어요.

미드에서 보면 on earth라는 표현이 많이 나오죠. 특별한 뜻이 있다기 보다는 강조하는 의미로 쓰여요.

황당할 때 많이 쓰는 것 같아요. on earth라는 표현은 수식어기 때문에 빼줘도 문법에 어긋나지 않아요.
