[season1-15] 까이유가 자기 옷을 다 빨아버려서 입을게 없네요ㅋㅋㅋ

안녕하세요.

오늘은 까이유네 빨래하는 날이네요.

다들 빨래하는 날짜를 정해놓고 하시나요?

미국은 빨래하는 날을 정해놓는 집이 많더라고요.

아마도 세탁기가 없는 집이 많아서인 것 같아요. 

자세한 이야기는 이따가 다시 하도록 할께요~ 

에피소드 먼저 살펴보도록 해요^^

 

Caillou Gets Dressed(S01 E15)

Caillou : Where's the door? I can't play with you now, Gilbert. Look what I brought, Mommy.

Mom : Thank you, Caillou. You're getting to be a big boy.

 

Caillou was very proud to help out. It was a good feeling.

 

C : Hey, Mommy. Look at me.

M : Caillou. Maybe you'd better run along now.

 

Caillou thought if he was big enough to help Mom do the laundry, he was big enough to get dressed by himself. There was only one problem. He'd brought all his clothes downstairs, so he had nothing to wear.

 

Dad : Caillou. Shhh. You'll wake Rosie. Why are you in your underpants?

C : I don't have any clothes.

D : That can't be right. You have tons of clothes. Goodness. You're right. I know. We can play a game. You can dress up.

C : I can't wear grown up clothes, Daddy.

D : Why can't you?

C : I'm too little.

D : We'll see about that. Here we are. They fit great. If you'd be so kind as to try this on, sir.

C : That tickles. Can I have a hat, too? Let me see. Let me see.

D : Hang on. It needs something else. Every inch a gentleman.

C : I love my moustache, Daddy.

D : Who says you're too small for grown up clothes?

M : Caillou. Look at you all dressed up. You're so handsome. I want a picture of my two men.

까이유 아빠가 센스있게 까이유와 잘 놀아주네요.

까이유 엄마와 아빠는 곤란한 상황도 놀이로 바꿔가면서 화를 안내고 잘 키우는 것 같아요.

아빠 덕분에 까이유가 재미있는 옷을 입게 됐네요.

예전 포스팅에서도 말씀드렸지만 미국은 공용 세탁기를 쓰는 곳이 많아요.

럭셔리 아파트를 제외하곤 대부분 공용 세탁실이 있고, 럭셔리 아파트의 기준은 세탁기가 있냐없냐 같아요ㅋㅋㅋ

식기세척기는 각 세대마다 다 있는데, 세탁기가 없다는게 아이러니하죠.

 

오래된 목조 건물이어서 세탁기가 돌아갈 때의 진동이 건물에 안좋아서 그렇다는 얘기도 있는데,

제가 생각하는 가장 큰 이유는 배관 자체가 없어서인 것 같아요.

세탁기를 설치하려면 물나오는 배관과 물빠지는 배관이 있어야 하는데, 배관 자체가 없는 집이 많답니다.

그래서 미국에서 집을 알아보실 때  hook up이 있다는 문구가 있으면, 세탁기는 없지만 설치는 가능하다는 의미로 보시면 되요.
