[season1-2] 까이유와 숨바꼭질 영어 배워봐요

안녕하세요.

며칠 사이에 날씨가 많이 추워졌네요.

날씨도 추워지고 코로나도 심해져서 밖에 못 나가니 아이와 계속 집에만 있게 되네요.

아이도 저도 밖에 나가서 좀 놀고 싶은데 말이죠.

 

오늘 까이유 에피소드는 호랑이 할아버지로 소문난 옆집 할아버지와 친해지는 내용이에요.

동네에 보면 실제로는 그렇지 않은데 아이들한테는 무서운 아저씨, 아줌마로 소문난 분들이 계시잖아요. 

그 할아버지께서 까이유 집에 놀러 오시면서 우연히 숨바꼭질을 하게 되면서 까이유와 친해지는 내용이에요.

  

[season1/episode2] Caillou's not afraid anymore

 

Mr.Hinkle lived next door.

Lots of children said there was a ghost in his scary old house.

Mr. Hinkle's house sure looked spooky and so did Mr.Hinkle.

 

Mom : Why, Caillou? what's the matter?

Caillou : Mr.Hinkle. He is scary.

M : Why do you say that?

C : Mr.Hinkle is scary. Look, he wants to catch me.

M : He's not there. And beside I know Mr.Hinkle and he's very nice.

Hinkle : Hello there, Caillou?

 

Poor Mr.Hinkle felt sad when he saw Caillou run away. 

 

M : Don't be frightened.

Mr. Henkle came over to say he was sorry you were scared. He's really a nice man.

C : I don't like him.

M : I think you're just afraid of Mr.Hinkle. Bcause you don't know him.

H : Hello, can I come in?

M : Come in, Mr.Hinkle. Caillou, Mr.Hinkle would like to...

H : Where did Caillou go?

M : I don't know. He is here a minute ago.

H : Oh, boy. I think he's playing hide-and-go-seek and I love playing hide-and-go-seek.

Ready or not, Caillou. Here we come.

Now, Well, Where could he be? Caillou, where are you?

C : Shh, Gilbert. There hear us.

M : I think I use hiding downstairs. 

H : We're getting warmer. I wonder if he's in here. I don't see him.

M : No, he's not here. Let's check another room.

H : There's only one place left where Caillou could be. I think I'm getting and warmer.

 

Caillou forgot all about being scared for Mr.Hinkle. 

 

M : Well, I'm glad to see you two were friends now.

C : I want to play again.

H : I'd like that very much Caillou. And this time I'll hide and you can seek.

C : I like you, Mr.Hinkle. 

 

 

 

 

까이유는 옆집 할아버지가 무서워서 숨은거였는데, 할아버지께서 센스 있게 숨바꼭질 놀이로 변경시키셨네요. 

덕분에 까이유가 할아버지와 친해지게 됐네요.

오늘 에피소드에서는 아이와 숨밖꼭질하면서 쓸만한 표현들이 많이 나왔어요.

 

• Why do you say that? 왜 그렇게 얘기하니?
• Don't be frightened. 무서워 하지마.
• He came over to say he was sorry you were scared. 할아버지가 너를 놀라게 한 것에 대해 사과하러 오신대.
• Can I come in? 들어가도 되나요? 
• He is here a minute ago. 조금 전까지만 해도 여기 있었어요.
• he's playing hide-and-go-seek. 숨바꼭질을 하는군요.
• Ready or not, here I come. 찾는다~ (숨바꼭질할 때 항상 쓰는 표현이에요)
• Where could he be? 어디로 갔을까?
• I'm getting warmer. 거의 다 찾았다.
• I wonder if he's in here. 여기 있는 것 같은데.
• I don't see you. 어딨는지 안 보이네.

* I found you! 찾았다!
